LLLL offers baseball programs from T-Ball through Little League Seniors for players of League Age 4-14 who reside with their parents or legal guardians within LLLL’s boundaries. All Loudoun County players of League Age 14-16 are eligible to play in LLLL’s Seniors division if the league in which you reside does not offer a baseball program for players of that League Age.

Note that the Challenger division (which provides players with disabilities the opportunity to experience the emotional development and the fun of playing Little league Baseball) has different eligibility requirements.

There are two main criteria to meet to be eligible to play in Lower Loudoun Little League:

Age: LLLL is open to players with a League Age of 4 to 14 inclusive for T-Ball through Little League Juniors, and League Age 14-16 for Little League Seniors.

Reference: League Age determination

Residency: Except for our Seniors division, LLLL is open only to players living within our boundaries. Little League International sets the criteria used to determine residency within our boundaries. In general, if either of the player’s parents OR a player’s court-appointed legal guardian resides within our boundaries OR if a the player attends a school within the boundary, then that player is permitted to play in our league.

The LLLL boundary forms a triangle with the Potomac River at the top, and the Loudoun County / Fairfax County border as the eastern boundary. The western boundary is Route 28 from the Route 28 / Route 267 (Dulles Toll Road) intersection north to Route 7. From Route 7 north to the Potomac River the western boundary is VA State Road 811 (Youngs Cliff Road).

To determine if your home address is within LLLL’s boundaries:

  1. View the Little League District 16 boundaries in Google Maps.
  2. Type your home address in the search box (the field between the Google logo and the blue search icon at the top of the page), and then click on the magnifying glass icon. (You must type your address in to the search box. The Google tool will not work properly if you use an address that was previously stored in your browser.)
  3. Click the Back button in your web browser and a red icon will appear and point to your home address
  4. If your home address is in the grey triangle, you are eligible to play in LLLL.
