Each year before the season begins, the League holds a Field Day.  On Field Day we do maintenance on our fields, including patching up the infield, picking up trash, and other minor repairs.  Those wanting to get outside, enjoy the weather, help the league are welcome and encouraged to come out. Gardening/weeding experience and tools are a bonus!

Lower Loudoun Little League, as a 100% volunteer organization, needs YOUR help to get prepared for the season. No experience is necessary – even if you don’t know the first thing about baseball or taking care of a field, please come out and help! The more adults that can join us, the faster it will go and the better our marquee fields (Cobb, Jennings, Pioneer, Foltz).

We’ll have select jobs for youth…so bring them out. In the spring, all players that come out and participate are entered into the “First Pitch” Raffle. The winner of this raffle will throw out the first pitch at Opening Ceremonies.

To see when the next Field Day will occur, check out the schedule.
