Q: What equipment will my player need to participate in Little League?

A: Lower Loudoun Little League provides all of our players with team jerseys and team ballcaps. Protective gear for catchers (helmet with face guard, chest protector, knee and shin guards) is provided for each team.

All players are expected to supply their own baseball shoes, baseball socks, baseball pants, athletic supporter with protective cup, bat and field glove, and batting gloves. LLLL provides helmets for our players to use, but most families choose to provide their own helmets for their players.

Players who require eyeglasses must wear glasses with non-breakable lenses at ALL practices and games.

Parents are strongly encouraged to provide their players with bottled water, or the sports drink of their choice, for all practices and games. Please consider the heat and humidity forecast for practice sessions and games and adjust the amount of water or sports beverages you provide for your child as needed.

We discourage eating during practices and games, and in our dugouts.

The use of ILLEGAL DRUGS and ALCOHOL is PROHIBITED at all Lower Loudoun Little League fields and Loudoun County Public Schools.
