As the 2017 seasons come to a close and the shopping season begins, we wanted to remind you of the new bats standards adopted by Little League.
Please note that as of January 1, 2018, the new USA Baseball Bat Standard will be implemented. Little League-approved baseball bats that are approved for use for the 2017 season will no longer be acceptable for use in any Little League game or activity starting on January 1, 2018. Lower Loudoun Little League is looking to purchase one new bat for each team.
Bottom line: the bat that you used in 2017 will not be allowed in 2018.
